I’m so excited I can hardly stand it! Tomorrow at 10am I pick up the newest member of our family – Gorda, a rescued English Bulldog!!
She was found in Coral Springs, tangled in a heap of bushes and nearly dead. This picture was taken just before her rescue.
She was dehydrated and suffered eye, ear, and skin infections, open wounds, and heartworms. Rescued by Adopt-A-Bull Rescue, she went through extensive treatments and everything is cleared up now – even the heartworms! She’s been fostered in St. Augustine by a veterinarian, so I’m sure she’s had the best of care.
St. Augustine is about a 2-hour drive from here so I’ll be leaving around 8am tomorrow. I’m so excited I can hardly stand it! I can’t wait to meet sweet little smooshie-faced GORDA!
How old is she??
Approximately 7.
Gorda is both gorgeous and very lucky! Adopting a7 y.o. Bulldog, rather than buying a puppy, is a truly wonderful and compassionate thing to do. Best wishes for years of love, snorts, and slobbers! :-). So exciting!
