I ran across a particularly nice QR code on a pack of Luden’s wild cherry throat drops, check out the colors and creative use of 30% error tolerance here:
Unfortunately I think they came dangerously close to the max error margin because scanning took quite some time, especially with the light reflecting on the glossy surface. But damn it sure is cute.
And, as I would imagine was likely debated on the Luden’s marketing team, for every person that actually scans the code I bet there are hundreds that simply smile and say “aw, what a cute QR code!” without considering scanning it. 😉
