… ok so I made up the name and I think it’s a combination of Italian and French, as may be this delicious snack/meal. But who cares what nationality it is – it’s downright delicious and that’s the important thing.
All ingredients available at Publix. From bottom to top:
- Sliced baguette, fresh from the bakery
- Sliced mozzarella, fresh from the deli
- Plum tomatoes, fresh from the produce department
- Basil, fresh from the ziplock bag it came in
- Gia Russa Balsamic Glaze
My mom first introduced me to balsamic glaze last year and since then I’ve been hopelessly addicted. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
