I’ve been wearing a fitbit for about 3 weeks now, and recently decided to challenge myself to walk 10,000 steps per day. The first day I did great: 11, 023 steps! The second day, I wasn’t feel well and only did 1,700 steps (ugh). Yesterday was day three, 10,235 steps. And today I’ve got 10,279 in so far.
It’s easier on the weekends, so we’ll see how I do during the upcoming week. As far as energy levels go, Monday is always my worst day (by far). I’m usually exhausted by the time the kids go to bed, and I usually go to sleep early.
Do you walk? Run? Exercise?
Update: Today’s Thursday and so far I’ve managed to reach my goal of 10,000 steps/day every day this week! Unfortunately, it’s almost 5:00 now and my fitbit says I only have 1359 steps so far today. 😯 I guess I’ll be doing some SERIOUS walking when I get home!
Update: Today is my 10th day in a row of walking 10,000 steps!!! 😯 Well, as of right now I actually only have 2,042 steps… so technically I’m about 8,000 steps away from hitting the 10k-for-10-days mark. 😉 But I’m not worried because I’m so close to reaching this milestone – there’s no way I can give up now! 😀
