I rooted my phone!

I finally got around to rooting my phone!!! I loaded CyanogenMod ROM. Why?

No more Samsung bloatware
No more Samsung services running in background
Access to the latest versions of Android (I’ll get KitKat once it’s stable)
More efficient use of the CPU so faster performance and reduced battery usage
Overclock/underclock control
Silent camera (finally!!)
Free wifi hotspot (saves me $20/month!)
And more nifty little features due to complete control of the phone

Invisible unlock dots (cool, huh?)

Been thinking of tackling this project my own self. Last I checked CyanogenMod wasn’t yet out for GS4, but that was a while back. I ought to look again.

Looked last night… the Verizon variant is about the only GS4 they haven’t tackled yet. Yay, Big Red. Way to make your sh*t difficult. lol
