Saturday we met the Wisdom family for kayaking on the Silver River.
We set out to paddle from Ray Wayside Park to Silver Spring… but the current was way too strong so we didn’t make it even halfway there!
Everyone had a good time though, and we saw some interesting wildlife along the way. Steve took these awesome pictures:
We found a sandy area in the shade where the kids could get out and stretch their legs.
We had a fun day on the river with good friends, and finished it off with dinner at Zaxby’s (sorry, no photos of that ;-)).
